I was at a choir camp from Thursday to Saturday. I gotta say it was pretty fun, despite having stomach cramps almost the whole time. The camp's theme this year was the Olympics, and I dressed as a basketball player. It was held at Prescott Pines, which is an about-average campsite. I will now sum up the trip.

TL;DR WARNING

Thursday- We came to the campsite, ate lunch, set up and all that shit. We did a couple of singing exercises, and we met our counselors. At night, we ate dinner and got into our costumes for the Camp Olympics. The events were pretty gross, in which one involved licking peppermints and making them stick to someone. Then we had a little dance (They played really obnoxious and over-hyped rap music. I sat almost the whole time), and then went to bed.

Friday - We woke up, ate breakfast and went into their chapel to learn our songs (Our music is from Children of Eden. Some of the songs were pretty good). Then we ate lunch and had some free time. I was just walking around with people learning more about them. After that, we ate dinner and had a campfire, in which we held an event involving holding another person's hands and staring at them for 15 seconds. (We eventually finished staring at everyone in the group. It consisted of at least 50 people). Finally, we had some snacks, held some more events in the gym and went to bed. In the middle of the night, people were pranking this one person in my cabin by duct taping them while they were sleeping, so I decided to be an asshole and wake up the person.

Saturday - Last day; we woke up, ate breakfast and packed our stuff up. We went into the chapel for one final practice run and then went to the gym for a final event. This involved you being in a group of people and putting your hands on someone else outside of the group telling them that they were special to you. Of course, the people outside of your group had their eyes closed (I put my hands on one person, they looked up and gave me this "I'm going to kill and rape you" smile. I decided to stay away from that person from the rest of the year). Then we got into the buses and left.

I had a great time.
